v-series:
The New Massive Audio v-series subwoofer use a custom designed stamp steel basket with heavy powder coat finish that surrounds a custom tooled poly mica cone with a Massive logo embossed in a ultra low mass woven glass fiber dust cap. In the center of this 12” cone is the 1.5" Dual 2 or 4 Ohm voice coil with aluminum former and reinforce neck joint. It is attached to the steel frame buy a pro audio 1" N-Roll polyester foam surround. The Poly-Cotton spider with woven round tinsel lead wire holds the V. C. in place and helps deliver the CEA 2031 rated 500 Max Watts/250 Watts RMS power. All this helps the 4 layer V.C. pound its way thought a single 40oz high intensity grade ferrite ring with a FEMM linear flux saturated motor design which helps control motion and reduce distortion. This combination and black E-coated magnetic plates help draw heat away from V. C. and produce volumes of kick ass base!
